Self Publishing Coach
I never thought I could be a published writer…
For as long as I can remember, writing has been my dream job. It wasn’t until I moved to the UK in my twenties and got a job at the BBC, that the dream came true. I became a news reporter and translator and can boast of breaking the news of the Russian Chernobyl disaster to the Western World.
Still, I dreamt about being able to write and publish my own books. In 2012 I achieved this goal when I published my first title, The English Heart, a true military romance set in 1980s Finland. I haven’t looked back and now work full-time as a writer.
Fourteen fiction and three nonfiction titles later, and with Master’s Degrees in Marketing and Creative Writing, I’m a Nordic Ambassador for the Alliance of Independent Authors, and a Fellow at CreateThinkDo.
I love helping other writers self-publish and market their books. Passing on the experience of nearly a decade of self-publishing is beyond anything I could have dreamt about as a schoolgirl in Finland!
One-on-one coaching
For many years I helped authors publish their books. My clients included city lawyers, Members of the House of Lords, poets, and business people.
Two years ago I decided to wind down the one-on-one coaching to concentrate on writing alone. I believed that if I didn't divide my time between helping other authors to write and publish their books, I would produce more titles.
Well... It hasn't quite worked out like that.
I miss meeting and helping new writers. I didn't realise how much I get out of the coaching, and how much inspiration the sessions with other writers give me. The sense of achievement, when the book that I've helped publish is launched successfully, is immense. I crave that feeling and want it back.
So... a drumroll, please.
I am now taking on one-on-one coaching clients again. But, I must warn you that my time is very limited. I am only going to be able to help two writers at a time, and the process can often take weeks if not months.
If you are interested in talking to me about one-on-one coaching, I offer a free 15-minute Discovery Call via Zoom. This is so that I can find out about you and your writing project and that we can both be comfortable with each other. In one-on-one sessions, we must be able to communicate effectively and understand what we want to achieve together.
Click the box below and you'll land on a sign-up page, where you'll share your contact details. Afterwards, I'll send you an email to learn more about your project. Once I have your information, we'll arrange a call that fits your schedule.
I look forward to hearing about your writing project!
